In 1995, I received my bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University. Four years later I went on to receive my Doctorate Degree in Dental Surgery from the Medical College of Virginia. I completed my postdoctoral residency program in advanced education in general dentistry the following year. I started my career as an associate of Dr. John Mercantini and upon his retirement adopted his practice.
My main focus is in preventative, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry. My professional memberships include the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. I devote a great deal of my time to advancing and improving my skills in the latest dental procedures and techniques, which allows me to remain up to date with the finest innovations in dentistry. These advances make your dental care experience more comfortable, attractive and long lasting.
I find both the technical and artistic aspects of practicing dentistry extremely gratifying.
Meeting and getting to know each and every patient is one of the best parts of my job. I have three daughters of my own, so I know how important it is that each and every one of my patients receives the best dental care. In my free time, I enjoy practicing tai chi and meditation. I am a certified tai chi instructor and devote much of my time to community service and volunteer work. I am very active in the Compassionate Service Society, an organization that assists those in need in the Northern Virginia area.
My philosophy is to employ highly skilled people working with the highest quality laboratories and materials to produce the best results. My staff and I will ensure you maintain quality dental health in a relaxed and friendly environment. It is our utmost priority to provide the most comprehensive first-rate service to our patients. We look forward to helping new and established patients create and maintain their most beautiful smile.
